By using EnvHaven, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Account terms

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. EnvHaven cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including content posted and actions taken in your workspaces.

You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or automated methods are not permitted.

You must authenticate via GitHub or email magic link. We may refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree to use EnvHaven in compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies.

Payment and refunds

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Polar. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period. Prices are in USD.

Refunds

If you're unhappy with EnvHaven for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your payment and we'll work with you to find a resolution—whether that's a refund, credit, or something else.

Price changes

We may change our pricing. When we do, we'll give you at least 30 days notice. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle after the notice period.

Cancellation and termination

Cancellation by you

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or through the Polar portal. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again.

Termination by us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate our Acceptable Use Policy or these Terms of Service. In cases of serious violations, termination may be immediate without notice.

For less serious violations, we'll typically give you a warning and a chance to correct the issue before taking action.

Data after cancellation

When you cancel, you can export your data via SSH/SCP before your access ends. After cancellation:

• Your workspaces will be deleted immediately (VPS destroyed)
• Your account data will be deleted within 30 days
• Backups will be purged within 90 days

Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or emergency repairs.

We'll give advance notice when possible for planned maintenance.

Intellectual property

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you create in your workspaces. We claim no intellectual property rights over the code, files, or other content you store on EnvHaven.

Our service

EnvHaven is open source under the MIT license. The source code is available at github.com/envhaven/envhaven.

Limitation of liability

EnvHaven is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or profits
• Service interruptions
• Security breaches not caused by our negligence

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify EnvHaven against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of EnvHaven after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
